The client had information related to projects in various places and in various systems.
Problem: The client wanted to be able to see all information related to a selected project in one place regardless of where the information was kept.
Solution: We provided an application that would show all project information in an easy to use dialog. This included AutoCAD drawing links including drawing thumbnails. It also included data screens with filtering, sorting and export functionality.
A little more detail: Data for this application came from various sources including a Windows PostgreSQL database, an IBM UNIX server and the Windows file system.
